Disney World Guest Assistance for Autism

When you are traveling to Walt Disney World, and someone in your party has a special need, you can get something called a Guest Assistance Card. This card can be helpful to adults and children with varying disabilities, including autism. When we travel to Walt Disney World with our autistic son we always stop at guest relations to get a card as soon as we enter the parks. This can be the difference between an enjoyable day with your family, or a complete disaster. Even under the best of circumstances, and with people that are not disabled, negotiating theme parks can be a grueling experience. Please visit my autism blog to learn more about my family's experiences with the Walt Disney World Guest Assistance Card.
